That is essentially the question that can be derived from what a woman wrote in to Consejos, an advice column in the Dallas Morning News:
I’ve been married for 12 years and just found out that my husband has been talking to another woman for the past three months. He claims she’s just a friend, but when the cellphone bill came in, it told a different story! We have two beautiful children, and I’ve threatened to leave him, but he swears it was just friendship and nothing was going on. After that night, he got rid of the cellphone and said he cut all ties with her, but my trust in him is gone.
How can I ever trust him again? Am I being stupid if I stay with him? Why do men get chiflados when another woman pays attention to them? Do they really think it’s worth it?
